The 140th Canton Fair opened in Guangzhou on October 14, and HiTHIUM was part of it. The company attended the opening ceremony as an invited guest and later welcomed Chinese Premier Li Qiang at its booth. Jason Wang, HiTHIUM’s CEO and chairman, briefed him on the company’s long-duration storage innovations and international roadmap.
A Storage-Only Focus in a Crowded Market
Jason Wang highlighted a simple but sharp differentiator: HiTHIUM, founded in 2019, is the only GWh-level lithium battery shipper in the world fully dedicated to energy storage. The company ranked second in global storage battery shipments in 2025 and in the first half of 2026, and supplies full-scenario integrated solutions to customers worldwide.
In overseas markets, HiTHIUM avoids low-price competition. Instead, it concentrates on high-barrier regions such as Europe, the United States, and Australia, and builds its presence around value differentiation rather than price war tactics.
Long-Duration Storage: From First Mover to Series Maturity
New energy storage has been identified as one of six emerging pillar industries under China’s 15th Five-Year Plan. HiTHIUM began investing in long-duration storage in 2022 and introduced the industry’s first 1,000Ah-class cell the following year. Today, it has developed a 1300Ah dedicated 8-hour storage cell and a mature 8-hour system around it.
A 6.9MWh Native 8-Hour System
The company’s flagship long-duration product is the ∞Power 6.9MWh system, which fits a standard 20-foot container, delivers more than 6.9MWh of capacity, and provides eight hours of stable output. The system uses the world’s first 1300Ah dedicated long-duration cell and a co-designed cell-to-system architecture. With a 25-year design life, it reduces auxiliary power use and improves balancing through simplified structure and intelligent control. It also integrates multi-level safety protection, low-GWP coolant, and recyclable components.
Sodium-Ion Joins the Portfolio
In September, HiTHIUM expanded beyond lithium with a new-generation sodium-ion integrated solution. It includes the ∞Cell N785Ah sodium-ion battery and the ∞Power N4.0MWh storage system. With a 30-year design life and 20,000 cycles, the sodium platform strengthens HiTHIUM’s lithium-sodium synergy strategy.
From Utility-Scale to Residential Applications
At the booth, HiTHIUM showed a wide product spectrum, from large-scale storage systems to C&I and residential products. The residential range includes the HeroEE M8 AIO, HeroEE 16, and HeroEE M30. The M8 AIO combines PV access and storage management in one integrated unit, delivers 5kW output, and is designed for plug-and-play clean power in remote areas. The HeroEE 16 and M30 target homes and small commercial sites, balancing capacity, flexibility, and backup needs.

HiTHIUM says it will deepen its global footprint through localized operations and closer supply chain collaboration. The direction is clear: use technology, product reliability, and service quality to win a lasting place in the global storage market.
